LabXR is an educational application built with Mixed Reality Technology (MR) that caters to school and college students of various syllabuses. This case study focuses on how the LabXR platform has revolutionized students’ education, bridging the gap between education and technology. The application has opened the doors to experiencing something beyond textbooks, enabling students to experience the latest technology through education.
LabXR is a Virtual Laboratory built using state-of-the-art mixed reality technology, focusing on students from all walks of life, from Primary, Higher, and Primary High schools and Colleges. The application covers all science concepts and laboratory experiments of various syllabuses like ICSE, CBSE, NEP, and State syllabi. The platform is age-specific, making it suitable for students of all ages.

The client required various laboratory functionalities linked to the holograms, making them behave correctly. This was a significant challenge for our team as the platform needed to be accurate and reliable to ensure students could learn effectively.
Solutions:
We developed the LabXR platform with state-of-the-art mixed reality technology to overcome the challenges, ensuring the holograms behaved correctly. In addition, we developed training modules to ensure that students and teachers could use the platform effectively.
The LabXR platform uses Unity 3D, Visual Studio Community 2022, and HoloLens 2 application development. In addition, the platform is developed for multiple platforms, including Android application development, iOS application development, and Oculus Quest 2 application development.
Our team’s roles in developing the LabXR platform include UI-UX designs and Integration, 3D modeling and designing, Mixed reality development, Training modules development, and Quality analysis.
